The International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) is an international certification system covering all kinds of bio-based feedstocks and renewables catering to energy, food, feed, and chemicals sectors.The ISCC EU is the first and leading voluntary scheme based on the European Renewable Energy Directive (RED), covering the environmental and social aspects of biomass production. It is compatible with other RED schemes.ISCC certification enables delivery of products compliant with the sustainability criteria laid down by the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED).

Two type of ISCC Certification:

ISCC EU

ISCC EU certification provides proof of compliance with environmental, social and traceability criteria, and qualifies biomass or biofuel companies for legal recognition under the targets set by European regulations for transportation fuels.

Who need ISCC EU Certification.

• Primary producers, certification not mandatory (farm, plantations, points of origin of waste and residues).
• First gathering points/collecting points.(Collection point waste and residue).
• Conversion units (output intermediate products or final fuel).
• Traders of raw/intermediate materials or final fuel.

 

ISCC PLUS

ISCC PLUS is a certification system for all markets and sectors not regulated by the RED or FQD, such as the food, feed, chemical and energy markets and for technical applications.

Who need ISCC EU Certification.

• Primary producers, certification not mandatory (farm, plantations, points of origin of waste and residues).
• First gathering points/collecting points.(Collection point waste and residues).
• Conversion units (output intermediate products or final fuel).
• Traders of raw/intermediate materials or final fuel.
